Cars Collective Pte Ltd (“Cars Collective”, “we” or “us”) takes the privacy of your information seriously. We ask that you read this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) carefully as it contains important information about how we handle personal information collected and received.

This Policy applies for information we collected and received in the course of your use of our websites, mobile application and services (collectively, the “Services”). It also governs data collection, processing and usage in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore (“PDPA”).

We may collect and receive information from you in the following situations:

  • When you use our Services through the use of cookies and similar tracking devices. For example, we may monitor the number of times you visit our Website or which pages you go to.   • When you use the features and functions available on our Services, for example, by booking a car wash, interacting with our employees, or when reviewing our services;

  1. Usage of Information from Users who Register their E-mails with Us

When you register your emails with us, we may use it for the following:

  • To send you weekly newsletters, contact you about products and services we think may be of interest to you;
  • To send you transactional/notification emails pertaining to the services/tools that you have requested for.

By submitting your email, you consent to the use of that email as set out in this policy.

 

  1. Usage of Information from Users who Register their Mobile Numbers with Us

When you register your mobile number with us, we may use it for the following:

  • To contact you about products and services we think may be of interest to you;
  • To send you transactional/notification SMSes pertaining to the services/tools that you have requested for.

Subject to the exceptions referred to in section 21(2) of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore (“PDPA”), you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. We want to ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. If any of the information that you have provided to Motorist changes, for example if you change your email address, name or payment details, or if you wish to cancel your registration, please let us know the correct details by sending an email to admin@carscollective.sg. You may ask us, or we may ask you, to correct information you or we think is inaccurate, and you may also ask us to remove information which is inaccurate.

 

  1. Non-Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to third parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating the Services, conducting our business, or servicing you, as long as these parties agree to keep this information confidential. Such service providers will only have access to your personal information to the extent necessary to perform their functions.

We may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your Personal Information is not transferred to the third party without your explicit consent.
